Ember: What prompted you to seek Ember Television’s services? What situation or problem did you need to solve?
KG: CPA wanted to create video content for its website, in particular case studies so that our clients could communicate the value of working with us. The nature of our work is “relationship based” and so it's hard to communicate the nuances of this in written and printed materials.
Had you tried a solution prior to contacting Ember Television?
We had never used video before, so this was a first experience for us. Ember were recommended by a colleague who had used them previously. I was able to see examples of their previous work to give me a sense of what was possible.
What did Ember Television achieve for you and how did it make a difference?
We were delighted with the results. Being able to have this additional medium to engage visitors to our website has added real value. In particular, case study videos has been a useful tool to direct new leads straight to that part of the website and web traffic has been driven up as a result. We will be creating further videos to update the content during the next 12 months.
Has our service provided good value for money and a return on investment?
The service was excellent value for money. The pre-production process meant that on the day we were focussed and able to achieve a lot of content with minimal disruption. As with much promotional activity, it is often hard to track the exact return on investment for a particular activity. However, there is no question that by adding this channel to our marketing approach, we have strengthened the impact of our messages, it has made it easier to communicate and engage with clients and has been well received.
Did our ability to create a strategy to deliver key messages to a target audience help?
There is no question that the use of video case studies has been an invaluable tool as we have expanded into a new market. We will definitely be creating further content and exploring new ways of using video as we plan our strategy for the future.
