Overview:

  • Client: Birmingham City University

  • Length: 2 minutes, 41 seconds

  • Style: Live-action event video

Brief:

Birmingham City University reached out to us to create a video covering their 2017 Innovation Fest, where students from the University showcase their latest projects in technology and communications.

Our approach:

We brought a small crew to the event and interviewed Professor Andy Aftelak, the Head of BCU's School of Computing and Digitial Technology. He was able to give us some insightful commentary about the field of technological innovation and what the event was showcasing, which we used at the start of the video to put the event into some context. We were also able to film some live demonstrations of the various projects around the room, and interview students and professors about the developments they were making and how BCU was helping to encourage innovation.
