IRESS Intermediary Mortgage Survey 2015

IRESS Intermediary Mortgage Survey 2015

Posted on: 26 February 2015

The UK mortgage market is preparing to undergo some major changes. The Mortgage Market Review (MMR), regulations from Europe, the 2015 UK general election and new technologies are all factors that the market is having to respond and adapt to.

As a leading fintech supplier, IRESS are well-placed to observe industry trends and comment on what the future holds. Following on from the success of the quarterly At Retirement Report and the annual Mortgage Efficiency Benchmark Survey, the inaugural IRESS Intermediary Mortgage Survey 2015 aims to provide insight into lender best practice while reflecting the experiences of intermediaries as they engage with lenders in the UK mortgage market.

Henry Woodcock from IRESS caught up with Peter Williams and Robert Sinclair, two key influencers in the mortgage industry, to discuss the report and hear their thoughts on the state of play. To find out more, download the report.

Work with key influencers to get your content seen

We've worked with IRESS on their previous survey video content, and for this project it was time to try a fresh approach. The idea of a discussion with industry thought leaders was settled upon in a similar style to the videos seen on the Financial Times and BBC MoneyBox. It's a smart move to include Peter and Robert because it gives direct access to the two primary audiences for the survey. This video demonstrates the benefits of using key influencers - whether that's asking them to share content or feature in it - to get your content seen by a wider network of people.
