We're back with another week of #ContentCatchup.
With sites clamping down on less valuable content and users becoming better equipped to filter out the “noise” of their busy social media feeds, it seems that 2018 is the year marketers will have to step up their game if they want to grab our attention. The good news is that research continues to show that content that engages the emotions - inspirational, heartwarming, intriguing - remains one of the best ways to captivate an audience and so good storytelling skills and an effective use of visual mediums is now essential for those who wish to engage consumers.
